Welcome to the 11th Anniversary of the Whale Dreamers Festival. Happening on July 3rd 2016, join the passionate group of locals as they converge at Norah Head Lighthouse for a day’s worth of free entertainment and activities.
For the benefit of the event, Bush Street will be closed to make way for festival goers who can take a walk up the beautiful bush track or taking a shuttle bus up the hill. For your convenience, there will also be a trailer this year for prams and wheelchairs on one of the buses. The Norah Head Bowling and Sports Club is also kindly providing a free bus service up to the festival this year.
Enjoy food stalls and picnic-themed afternoons as well. Since the festival advocates nature conservation, all stall holders will be requested to utilise eco-friendly packaging.
Ultimately, the festival seeks to unite the community and raise awareness of the plight of whales, raise funds for conservation and research projects about whales, and to actively participate in their conservation.
