El Lago Waters Resort Entrance 1080812

1.    Visit Tuggerah Lakes Cycleway

Tuggerah Lakes Cycleway is an off-road, scenic 12 kilometre shared pathway from The Entrance, which hugs the lakes foreshore to Chittaway Bay, or heads north across The Entrance Bridge to Magenta for approximately four kilometres.

Parks, playgrounds, toilets, picnic and barbecue areas are located along the path, making it a family friendly activity. The route is mostly flat and suits a range of fitness levels.

2.    Skate and Bike at The Entrance Skate Park

The Entrance Skate Park is proof that skate parks are no longer just used by skateboarders, but also BMX bikers, scooters, and roller bladers. Skate parks are not just for doing, but also for spending many hours just watching in fascination.

Professionally designed, The Entrance Skate Park has all the elements required to enable you to perform your full suite of tricks.

Take a stroll down to visit the skate park and you will not be disappointed with the sheer skill displayed there. It will be your turn soon.

3.    Visit The North Entrance beach

The North Entrance beach is flanked to the north by Wyrrabalong National Park and to the south by The Entrance Channel opening to Tuggerah Lakes. Energetic surf averages 1.6 metres and features a double bar system running the length of the beach. Swimming is safest south of the Surf Club, but bathers should avoid the currents and holes at the opening to Tuggerah Lakes at the far south. Fishing and prawning are a popular pastime at North Entrance beach and in Tuggerah Lakes.

Ocean front restaurants and alfresco dining options are within a few minutes' drive of the beach. There are accommodation options ranging from budget style cabin/caravan parks, holiday houses and self-contained apartments to up market resorts, motels and bed and breakfasts. Buses are also available from Wyong train station.
